We are now accepting entries for the 2025 Conservation District Poster Contest!

The contest is open to all K-12 students. Submissions are due to Montgomery County Conservation District by June 16, 2025 along with the entry form (linked below). The 2025 theme “Home is Where the Habitat is” must be on your poster. Posters will be voted on by the Conservation District staff, with the first place winner in each category earning a county level prize and being sent on to the state level competition.

Additional Contest Details:

– Poster must be flat, no 3-D elements

– Submissions can be mailed or e-mailed to the address below

– Painted, hand-drawn or braille posters are accepted for all grade categories

– Digital posters are being accepted for the 7th-9th and 10th-12th grade categories

Judging Criteria:

      Conservation Message – 50%

      Visual Effectiveness – 30%

      Originality – 10%

      Universal Appeal – 10%
