DEP Training on the Revised General NPDES PAG-02 Permit

The Department of Environmental Protection will be holding training on the revised Pennsylvania general NPDES permit for stormwater discharges associated with construction activities (PAG-02). Currently, there are two trainings scheduled in the eastern and central areas of the state with another training to be held in the western area of the state to be announced soon. The dates and locations of the trainings are as follows:

April 16       Holiday Inn Conference Center, 7736 Adrienne Drive, Breinigsville
April 23       Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, 1450 South Atherton Street, State College

All trainings will start at 8AM and will conclude at 12PM. PDHs will be awarded; however, you must pre-register.

E&S Manual Review Training Taking Place in Southeastern PA

The next Erosion and Sediment (E&S) Manual Review Training has been scheduled for May 29-30 on the campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA 19085. The two-day training will take place in the CEER Building on campus.

The session is $300 and covers the cost of all materials and meals.
All attendees who complete the session will receive a completion certificate which will note the receipt of 12 professional development hours (PDHs) upon conclusion.

A block of rooms has been secured at the Courtyard Marriott located at 651 Fountain Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. The room block is for May 28 and 29. Call 800-321-2211 by May 8 to reserve a room under the “PACD Room Block Rate.” Individuals can also secure a room under this block on line.
A parking pass will be provided to all attendees upon receipt of their registration.

This can be accessed by clicking the link for “NPDES Notice of Intent & Instructions” in the Forms and Applications box on the Erosion and Sediment Control page (under “Programs”).
