NACD Poster Contest – Call for Entries!

Calling all youth artists!

The National Association of Conservation Districts is holding their annual poster contest. The theme this year is “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life.”

Winner from Montgomery County will be sent to the State, for entry in the National Competition!

Submission Details:

1. Due to Montgomery County Conservation District (MCCD) by May 27, 2022

2. Hand drawn 8.5”x11” posters accepted, with a digital option for grades 7-12

3. Official theme and/or logo “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life” should be on each poster

4. MCCD accepts submissions from K-12 students within Montgomery County

5. Submissions can be mailed or emailed to MCCD along with submission form

Call for Nominations: 2022 Environmental Stewardship Award

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS EXTENDED – 5/16

We are again partnering with the Montgomery County Planning Commission to offer a 2022 Environmental Stewardship Award, through the Montgomery Awards program.

Nominate a project, completed in the past three years, that exemplifies the practices of environmental stewardship and conservation for water and soil quality.All entries may be submitted online or by mail. The deadline for nominations is the end of day on May 6, 2022.
